Yeah…probably not the brightest thing he could have done, doubting her, but she fully puts him in his place. I love how she dresses him down in his own facility. Cracks me up. Not to mention it looks like she hasn’t lost a step power wise since she retired!
The kids in the last panel are actually a super team I created YEARS ago as my first comic book project. It was a book called FORCE 10 and it was basically about a team of orphan kids that are trained by the government as assassins. Once I saw the need for a team of kids they dropped in quite nicely. Their names are: Quillion (lower left foreground) Faera (blonde flying in the background) Scrapper (under the weight stuff in the background) and Elementa (jumping over the robots). There are a couple other team members not shown, but these worked the best visually so we went that route. And who knows, we might see them again at some point down the road.
Quillion? are you freakin kidding me? gah! there goes the name of the villain i wanted to sneak into a certain dusty old team up. feh.
