Formerly known as…the silent page. When I wrote the script originally I had a bunch of ideas about what I wanted Kerri to be going through here, but they weren’t real well organized and at the time I decided to leave the whole page blank and have her wandering aimlessly doing the whole silent contemplation thing. Problem is, Kerri’s not the silent type. She’d be running the whole thing through her head trying to figure it all out. So since I have final cut anyway, I decided to go back and give you a door into her thoughts.

Lisa once again stepped up in a big way with this page. When she wrote and asked me what I wanted on the billboards I had to go back and check the inks because I hadn’t even noticed they were there! Once I saw them then the thought process began! Since the Tron movie is coming out this year I figured that would be really cool to have in there because I’m a big Tron nut. I am also a regular reader of the Freak Angels webcomic, and I was in the middle of reading it when I got her email, so it was on my mind. The Zone 4 logo is a tip of the hat to Brant, Chuck, Chuck, John, and Jason who have all been a part of the Zone 4 pod cast over at Comic Related. It’s a great cast and we have a blast doing it, so what better to include than that?

And if you were paying attention early on you saw a quote from a book by Londonne Nichols on the inside front cover of this issue. It seems that at some point during the last five years that evil woman has written a best selling novel entitled “Where have all Heroes Gone?” That would have been bad enough, but then she had to go and slap Dynagirl’s picture on the front cover! I keep saying it’s not smart to piss this girl off. It won’t be long before we show you WHY. I know Lisa wanted to kill me by the time she got this page done but it was her hard work that pulled the book store panel off. Thanks Lisa!
