Why so late with the update you ask? Well, see last Monday I related the fact that my wife and I were in the hospital awaiting the arrival of my son, and things were going good. Since then, things have been simply incredible! Logan Wayne Kent Kelley arrived safe and sound, and in fine spirits, screaming for all the world to hear that he had in fact shown up. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind no doubt about it. In fact as I type this he’s sleeping on my chest, quite content to rest there and listen to my heartbeat as we both give his mom some much needed sleep. Seems the little guy has his days and nights mixed up, and that’s been working mom overtime in a big way!
In comic news, things continue to go well. I’m a bit behind on my lettering, but not by much. I should have the first half of issue 3 lettered out here real soon, keeping me way ahead of the curve. I also got a most excellent delivery this weekend in the form of the Fallen Justice Collected Edition! They look kick ass if I do say so myself! 208 pages of Fallen Justice! It’s the complete story, plus a huge special features section. Click the Fallen Justice banner on the left or here and check it out!
And that kids, is about it. Be sure to check back tomorrow when we find out who Kerri’s been talking to!
And in case you were wondering what my brand new baby boy looks like…here you go!

The title says it all folks, Dynagirl #1 is now available for order via the Indyplanet service for individuals and will be available shortly via the Comicsmonkey service for stores that want to carry the book. Click the cover image to head on over! Also, I understand the site reports as an attack site for some reason. I’ve been on it several times without issue and haven’t found any problems, but the staff over there are working to correct the erroneous reporting.

As previously mentioned, Red Handed Studios has officially turned over all printing and sales of the individual issues of the series to Indyplanet to better allow us to focus on making the books and staying on schedule with the webcomic. We still get the profits, we just don’t have to hassle with holding back stock and all the shipping madness. It’s a win win, trust me. There will be a limited number of printed issues available when we appear at conventions, at least until the first trade comes out, so if you see us at a show and you’re early, we might have them there as well. All things considered, it’s easier to order it now and bring it to the show with you, so you don’t run the risk of missing out. I’ve seen the proofs on this version and the sketch cover version and they do in fact kick much ass, so you will not be disappointed. I’ll have issue 2 up when it completes, and so on down the line so keep checking the little updates for more info!
