You didn’t think we’d forgotten about Amelia and Bev, did you? They were just watching at a somewhat safe distance, that’s all. And good old Elias is still hanging out to lend a hand! You gotta love that faithful steed mentality!

Just as a heads up folks, we might be on a short break as Harold has taken some time off to spend with his family after the loss of his grandmother. I never got the chance to meet her, but from what he’s said about her, she was one tough lady. As we begin to lose more and more grandmothers and grandfathers I am constantly reminded that they were born and raised in a far different era than we were, reared to deal with problems in their time we can’t even begin to imagine, and not only persevere, but to thrive. There’s an innate toughness in the people born during that period of our history. They took very little and built more than should have been humanly possible. They certainly don’t make them like that anymore, and we miss them more by the day. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Harold and his entire family during this challenging time.
