And now…Bev. It’s funny, thinking back to how long some of these new characters have been in the mix, on the horizon so to speak. It cracks me up. Bev, or the kernel of her genesis anyway goes all the way back to 2008, when I met a very friendly woman by the same name on a trip to Trinidad. The real life Bev is really good natured with an amazingly bright soul, and it was a pleasure to get to know her. As with almost every other single character I’ve ever created, this one got her start there, in someone I know personally, and then morphed into something altogether different along the way. Like the man says, we write from life, because it’s what we know.

Thus concludes Dynagirl issue #8, entitled Reunion. We’ve shown you more than a little bit of back story, some good history stuff, and slowed things down a bit action wise for sure from previous issues. Issue #9, which starts next week is going to start picking up the speed quite a bit and by the time issue ten gets here, we’ll be racing full speed ahead, and damn the torpedoes!

See you next week.
